Summary
Working principle: The system uses electrolysis to convert salt (sodium chloride) into chlorine gas, which disinfects the water. It is used for swimming pools and hot tubs.
Structure: It consists of an electrolytic cell and a control unit. When electric current is applied, salt ions (NaCl) turn into chlorine gas (Cl₂) and hydrogen gas (H₂).
Automation: You only need to add the proper amount of salt to the pool (salt not included). The generator automatically produces chlorine without manual dosing.
Health and environmental benefits: Compared with traditional chlorine treatments, it produces fewer byproducts such as chlorates and trichloromethane.
Smart control: Operated via TUYA Smart, Smart Life APP, and onboard panel/display.
